![]() ![]() It is also proven that he can use this ability without summoning the Zenrin Shooter first. This speed is enough to follow and fight against Faiz Accel's speed, as shown in the movie Super Hero Taisen GP: Kamen Rider 3. ![]() If he does so while already having the Zenrin Shooter on hand, he instead gains the ability to accelerate at an incredible running speed. ![]() Mach also has the ability to hover in the air for a short period of time by jettisoning power through well-hidden vents along his thighs.īy hitting the Boost Igniter four times, Mach is able to summon his Zenrin Shooter. In this form, Mach has serious power, punching and kicking harder than Drive's Type Technic Braver and Gravity, as well as Type Wild (though not Types Wild Dump and Wild Wrecker), can jump higher than Drive, and is almost as fast as Type Speed when Drive goes at full speed. Since Mach's V-Helm ( ∨-ヘルム, Buī Herumu) helmet is based on a motorcycle helmet, the Innovate Visor ( イノベイトバイザー, Inobeito Baizā) part of it can be raised up to reveal the Shutter Face Guard ( シャッターフェイスガード, Shattā Feisu Gādo), which lets out the pent up energy that Mach builds up during extended use, as well as being the manual off-switch to his Heavy Acceleration abilities. Like Drive, Mach is able to create intense Heavy Acceleration distortions through verbal command. Īccessed through the Signal Mach Bike, Mach's default motorbike-based form bears the Signa Kourin ( シグナコウリン, Shiguna Kōrin). "Signal Bike! Rider! Mach! (Groovy music)" ―Transformation announcement Rider Statistics Kamen Rider Mach's ending theme is entitled " Full Throttle". After raising the Signal Landing Panel, pressing the Boost Igniter, and pushing the Signal Landing Panel back down, Mach can unleash a Full Throttle ( フルスロットル, Furu Surottoru) finishing move. Unlike Drive's Tire Exchanges, Mach's stats are not altered when his Kourin Signal changes from initiating a Signal or Tire Exchange.īy hitting the Boost Igniter on the Mach Driver Honoh between one and four times, Mach can activate the special ability of a Signal Bike or Shift Car currently placed within the Driver. Mach can also use Kamen Rider Drive's Shift Cars for the same effect through a Tire Exchange ( タイヤ交換, Taiya Kōkan). These two types of Signal Bikes can be used in conjunction with each other. "Rear Wheel Signal") on his right shoulder for a Signal Exchange ( シグナル交換, Shigunaru Kōkan). Heart and Banno are exceptions, but they're also both very popular characters, so it makes sense as well. Some of Kamen Rider Mach's Signal Bikes alter the suit based on a certain attribute, whereas other Signal Bikes arm him with a certain element or weapon, by changing the Kourin Signal ( コウリンシグナル, Kōrin Shigunaru, lit. The Drive figuarts have an advantage in that not only are they cheap to make but basically all of them are still one of the three main Rider characters, which makes them easier sells. I really do think it has more to do with the fact that pretty much all of them were throwaway characters or forms, rather than the cost of new parts. And I mean, we have seen pretty much all of them in events, so we know they have at least workable prototypes. And then there's forms that don't even need that, and would be nearly complete just with a recolor, like Black Jimba Arms, Black Baron, or even Watermelon Zangetsu. Most of the helmets for the remaining forms and Riders can also easily be retooled from other Rider's (Gaim's in particular saw a lot of use). Like, if they finished just one Gaim Rider that uses one of the apple-based Arms, they could just reuse that for like 5 or 6 different figures. It's not as little as they have to do for these Drive figures but it's still not a lot. The only new things they'd have to make for them are the chest/armor, the heads, and the weapons. I also think this is one of the reasons Gaim releases dried up: why would Bandai risk significant amounts of new tooling costs when they can produce Riders that mostly reuse existing parts? To be fair, pretty much all the remaining Gaim figuarts (except for like, Suika Arms) would also mostly reuse the vast majority of their parts. There's just not that much tooling necessary for a lot of these given that the show and its spin-offs kept remixing existing body parts in different configurations. Bandai has gotten a lot of use out of the Type Speed, Mach, and Chaser (Mashin and Rider) molds. Gol(r)d Drive was a retail release, which was a bit of a stunner, but it was so easy for them to re-do: Type Speed head, Proto-Drive torso, adjust the paint, and leave out the shift car: done. ![]()
